Common Names
Lake Bug-eyed Frog (Poyarkov, Nguyen, Popov, Geissler, Pawangkhanant, Neang, Suwannapoom, and Orlov, 2021, Russ. J. Herpetol., 28 (3A): 63).
Distribution
Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (Ban Naxang Village, Feuang District, Vientiane Province, Laos).

Comment
Most closely related to Theloderma lateriticum, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology and mtDNA molecular markers were detailed.
