Known only from montane evergreen forest above 1500 m elevation at the type locality in Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park, Lam Dong Province, and above 1800 m on Chu Yang Sin Mountain, Chu Yang Sin National Park, Lak District, Dak Lak Province, Vietnam.
