Theloderma pseudohorridum Kurniawan, Septiadi, Kadafi, Fathoni, Prabasari, and Thammachoti, 2023, Asian Herpetol. Res., 14: 7. Holotype: MZB Amph 23877, by original designation. Type locality: "Mutean Village, Cilacap Selatan District, Cilacap Regency, Nusa Kambangan Island, Central Java Province, Indonesia (S7°43’19.3” E108°50’55.5”; 95 m elevation)".

Distribution
Currently known from lowland forest of Nusa Kambangan Island, Central Java Province, and Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, southern Sumatra, Indonesia, although suggested to likely extend to Siberut Island (Sumatra) and West Java

Comment
Adult and larval morphology, as well as molecular markers provided in the original publication as well as assignment to the Theloderma horridum group. Bayu, Surahmat, Lubis, Surya, and Septiadi, 2024, Herpetol. Notes, 17: 21-24, reported the species from Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park, southern Sumatra, Indonesia, and commented on life history.
