Rhacophorus achantharrhena Harvey, Pemberton, and Smith, 2002, Herpetol. Monogr., 16: 49. Holotype: UTA A53961, by original designation. Type locality: "western slope of Bukit Kaba, Bengkulu, Sumatra, Indonesia, 03° 30′ 02″ S, 102° 38′ 08″ E, 1415 m".

English Names

None noted.


Known only from the type locality on the western slope of Bukit Kaba and the southeastern slope of Gunung Dempo, Sumatra; expected elsewhere on the highlands along the western edge of Sumatra, Indonesia.


Most similar to Rhacophorus dulitensis and Rhacophorus prominanus according to the original publication.
