Rhacophorus arvalis Lue, Lai, and Chen, 1995, J. Herpetol., 29: 339. Holotype: NTNUB 169001, by original designation. Type locality: "Minhsiung (120° 33′ E, 23° 33′ N, elevation about 50 m, . . . ), 12 km N Chiai City, Chiai Hsien, Taiwan", China.

Distribution
Agricultural areas in Chiayi, Yunlin, and Tainan counties in southwestern Taiwan, up to 1000 m elevation.
