Distribution
High elevation montane rainforest in the vicinity of the type locality in the Talamanca Mountain Range of western Panama (La Amistad International Park, Chiriqui Province).
Comment
Morphology, coloration, and mtDNA markers detailed in the original publication, where the species was assigned to the subgenus Eladinea.
