Distribution

Moderately high elevations (2200–3000 m) from the Meseta Central of Chiapas, Mexico to the Pacific slopes in western Guatemala, including the Sierra de Cuilco, the western portion of the Guatemalan Plateau, and the Cuchumatanes.
