Bolitoglossa medemi Brame and Wake, 1972, Contrib. Sci. Nat. Hist. Mus. Los Angeles Co., 219: 2. Holotype: LACM 42276, by original designation. Type locality: "Finca Chibiguí, approximately 76° 30′ W, 6° 15′ N, on the Río Arquía, Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia. Elevation approximately 300 m (980 ft)".

Distribution

The Darién and San Blas regions of Panama and the Chocó region of northwestern through western Colombia as far south as the state of Nariño, and into western Ecuador in the provinces of Esmeraldas, Imbabura, and Pichincha, sea level to 2338 m elevation.
