Distribution
Narrow zone along the Pacific slope of the Sierra Madre del Sur in Oaxaca, Mexico, north and south of Putla de Guerrero, 700–1050 m elevation and Corral de Piedra, Santa Ana del Progreso, southwest of Tlaxiaco, between 1250 and 1265 m.
