Bradytriton silus Wake and Elias, 1983, Contrib. Sci. Nat. Hist. Mus. Los Angeles Co., 345: 4. Holotype: MVZ 131587, by original designation. Type locality: "Finca Chiblac, 15 km NE Barillas, Depto. Huehuetenango, Guatemala, elevation 1310 m (4300 ft)".

Distribution

Known only from (1) the immediate vicinity of the type locality in extreme northwestern Guatemala, on the eastern slopes of the Sierra de los Cuchumatanes, ca. 1310 m elevation; (2) Finca Ixcansan, near Yalambojoch, ca. 29 km to the northwest of the type locality, in Guatemala; and (3) 200 km to the northwest of the type locality at San Francisco Jimbal, in Chiapas, Mexico, near the Tabasco border.
