Nototriton alvarezdeltoroi Papenfuss and Wake, 1987, Acta Zool. Mexicana, N.S., 21: 9. Holotype: MVZ 158942, by original designation. Type locality: "21.5 miles (34. 6 km) N (by Mex. Hwy. 195) of Jitotol, Chiapas, Mexico, 1550 m (5100 feet)".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Jitotol) and one nearby locality on the Caribbean slopes of the Mesa Central of Chiapas, Mexico, 1200–1550 m elevation.
