Oedipina (Oedopinola) maritima García-París and Wake, 2000, Copeia, 2000: 50. Holotype: USNM 529981, by original designation. Type locality: "Escudo Camp, West Point, Isla Escudo de Veraguas, Prov. Bocas del Toro, Panamá, approximate 9° 6.1′ N, 81° 4.5′ W".
