Eastern slopes of the Cordillera Central and Magdalena River Valley lowlands of Colombia in municipios Anorí, Maceo, San Carlos and Sonsón, Antioquia, and Norcasia, Caldas, between 400–1000 m elevation An unconfirmed record (fide the original publication) from Reserva Natural Cañón del Río Claro, Puerto Triunfo, Antioquia.
