Geotrypetes grandisonae Taylor, 1970, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 48: 849. Holotype: BMNH 1969.1589, by original designation. Type locality: "Aleku, 12 km N Dembidollo, [Welega Province,] Ethiopia, elev. 1846 m elev." (34° 37′ E; 8° 39′ N).

Distribution

Endemic in the tropical deciduous forests of southwestern Ethiopia (Provinces of Willega, Kaffa, and Illubabor), Ethiopia, 1500–2150 m elevation; like to occur in adjacent South Sudan.
