Raorchestes hillisi Jiang Ren, Guo, Wang and Li in Jiang, Ren, Wang, Guo, Wang, Liu, Jiang, and Li, 2020, Asian Herpetol. Res., 11: 271. Holotype: CIB 116329, by original designation. Type locality: "Xiding (21.935607°N, 100.149527°E, altitude 1719 m), Menghai, Yunnan, China".

Hillis's Bush Frog (original pubication). 

勐海灌树蛙 (Chinese: Yuan, Chen, Wu, Li, and Che, 2022, Biodiversity Sci., 30 (4: 21470): 7).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Xiding, 21.935607°N, 100.149527°E, altitude 1719 m, Menghai, Yunnan, China).

Comment

The sister taxon of Raorchestes gryllus + Raorchestes lonchuanensisi and previously confused with Raorchestes menglaensis, and to a lesser degree, Raorchestes parvulus, according to the original publication. In the Raorchestes hillisi group according to Boruah, Deepak, and Das, 2025, Vert. Zool., Senckenberg, 75: 517–625, who reported on phylogenetics and morphology.
