Arthroleptis langeri Rödel, Doumbia, Johnson, and Hillers, 2009, Zootaxa, 2302: 20. Holotype: ZMB 74038, by original designation. Type locality: "Liberia, Mount Nimba, Nimba-East, forest, 567 m a.s.l., N 07.40806°, W 008.58436°".
Common Names
Langer's Squeaker (Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 254).
Distribution
Southern part of Mount Nimba, the Putu Range and other localities in southeastern Liberia, 500 to 800 m elevation; both the sides of Mount Nimba (both in Liberia and Guinea) and an additional site about 200 km away near the summit of Mount Jideh in Liberia; possibly into adjacent southwestern Ivory Coast.

Comment
Nopper, Gonwouo, Hillers, Sandberger-Loua, Ohler, and Rödel, 2012, Zootaxa, 3170: 64–68, reported on distribution (genetically confirmed) and morphology. Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 254–255, provided a brief account, photograph, and range map.
