Holotype: ZMB 80472, by original designation. Distribution
Known from the regions near Mayoko and Tsinguidi in the rainforest zone of the Rep. Congo; unknown whether the species is endemic to this region, or if it might also occur in adjacent areas and countries, especially Gabon to the north. All localities are in mid-elevation rainforests at elevations of 634 to 744 m.
