Xenia’s African Treefrog (original publication).
Distribution
Forested areas around the towns of Kibre Mengist and Kofele, Oromia, Ethiopia (5.87–7.02°, 38.80–39.13°; 1832–2561 m elevation).

Natural Resident: Ethiopia
Endemic: Ethiopia
Comment
In the Leptopelis gramineus complex according to the original publication where relevant literature, morphology, morphometrics, advertisement call, genetic markers, limited hybridizaton with Leptopelis shebellensis, and natural history were detailed. Spawls, Mazuch, and Mohammad, 2023, Handb. Amph. Rept. NE Afr.: 78, did not accept recognition of this species for undisclosed reasons.
