Known only from the type locality in the Cordillera de Nombre de Dios, Departamento de Atlántida, Honduras, elevation of 1520 m.

In the Eleutherodactylus milesi group according to the original publication. In the Eleutherodactylus (Craugastor) milesi group of Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec.
