Distribution

Known only from the type locality (El Cinto, Mindo, Pichincha Province, Ecuador) in secondary cloud forest, 1673 m elevation.

Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 28–29, provided an account summarizing morphological identification, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation, with photographs.
