Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (surroundings of Villano, Pastaza, Ecuador) in rainforest at 337 to 428 m elevation.

Comment

In the Pristimantis lacrimosus species group according to the original publication. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 57–58, provided an account which summarized morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
