Pristimantis cantorcaelestis Cuellar-Valencia, Bolaños-Molina, and Bolívar-García, 2026, Zootaxa, 5807: 311. Holotype: CPZ-UV 7430, by original designation. Distribution

Currently, known from four localities within the Parque Nacional Natural Farallones de Cali (Cauca, Colombia)—Balcones, Pico Pance, Lagunas and Alto del Buey, where it inhabits Andean Forest and Paramo ecosystems between 3300 and 4100 m elevation; presumably found more widely.

In the Pristimantis leptolophus species group, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, molecular markers (16S mtDNA), and advertisement call were detailed.
