Distribution

Found broadly across Carchi province, Ecuador; known from both the western and eastern flanks of the Andean range, specifically the Tufiño–Maldonado Road, Cascadas de Cartagena, Cerro La Bretaña, and Morán, at elevations ranging from 2950 to 3362 m
