Distribution

Elevations of 824 to 2228 m on the Amazonian slopes of the Cordillera Oriental in Ecuador (Napo, Pastaza, Sucumbíos, Tungurahua, Morona-Santiago, and Zamora-Chinchipe provinces) and on the south slope of the Cordillera de Condor in Province of San Ignacio, Department of Cajamarca, Peru.

In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group; related to Eleutherodactylus carvalhoi, Eleutherodactylus croceoinguis, and Eleutherodactylus martiae, according to the original publication.
