Distribution

Amazonian evergreen lowland forest of southern Ecuador in Napo, Sucumbíos, and Orellana Provinces, and two localities from Putumayo and Caquetá Departments in Colombia, 211 to 681 m elevation.

Comment

In the Pristimantis acuminatus group, and previous confused with Pristimantis acuminatus, according to the original publication. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 218–219, provided an account with photographs which summarized morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
