Pristimantis lucidosignatus Rödder and Schmitz, 2009, Rev. Suisse Zool., 116: 283. Holotype: MHNG 2392.27, by original designation. Type locality: "Tandapi, Pichincha, Ecuador, approximately 78.91° W, 0.54° S, 2,115 m a.s.l.".

Distribution

Known only from San Francisco de Las Pampas, Cotopaxi Province, and Tandapi, Pichincha Province, Ecuador, in humid lowland tropical forest.

Comment

In the Pristimantis myersi group according to the original publication, and of Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 126. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 228–229, provided an account with photographs which summarized morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
