Pristimantis miktos Ortega-Andrade and Venegas, 2014, Zootaxa, 3895: 35. Holotype: QCAZ 53531, by original designation. Type locality: "Juyuintza, S2.110, W76.190, 200 m altitude".

Cutín Mezclado (Spanish: Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: xxxv).

Distribution

Amazonian evergreen lowlands of Ecuador, in Orellana, Pastaza, and Morona-Santiago Provinces, and Loreto Department in northern Peru, at elevations between 190 and 556 m.

Confused with Pristimantis luscombei prior to its description, according to the original publication. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 249–250, provided an account with photographs which summarized morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
