Comment

In the Pristimantis (Huicundomantis) phoxocephalus species group according to Páez and Ron, 2019, ZooKeys, 868: 27. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 257–259, provided an account with photographs which summarized morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
