Numbala Rain Frog (original publication). 

Cutin de Numbala (Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 4: 444). 

Distribution

known only from the Reserva Numbala, Zamora Chinchipe Province, Ecuador, and its immediate proximity with an elevational range of 2860 to 2880 m in subpáramo habitat.

Comment

In the Pristimantis orestes group, Pristimantis colodactylus subgroup, according to the original publication, where comparative morphometrics and molecular markers were detailed. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 4: 444–446, provided an account, with photographs, which summarized identification, adult morphology, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
