Distribution

Amazonian evergreen lowland forest of northern Ecuador i(Napo and Orellana provinces) and one nearby locality from Loreto Department in Peru, 191 to 404 m elevation; expected in adjacent Colombia.

Comment

In the Pristimantis acuminatus group, and previous confused with Pristimantis acuminatus, according to the original publication. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 283–284, provided an account with photographs which summarized morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
