In the Pristimantis devillei group according to the original publication. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 315–317, provided an account with photographs which summarized morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), and conservation.
