Comment

Similar to Pristimantis katoptroides according to the original publication, although specifically not assigned to a species group. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 354–356, provided an account, with photographs, summarizing morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), conservation, and also (pp. 483–484) described the advertisement call.
