Type locality: "Cordillera de Saloya, antigua vía Quito-Santo Domingo (00° 19′ 02.0″S, 78° 41′ 12.7″ O, 3050 m), cantón Quito, provincia de Pichincha, República de Ecuador".

Comment

In the Pristimantis myersi group according to the original publication, and Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 126. Coloma and Duellman, 2025, Amph. Ecuador. Vol. 3: 377–378, provided an account, with photographs, summarizing morphological identification, systematics, natural history, distribution (including a dot map for Ecuador), conservation, and also (pp. 485–486) described the advertisement call.
