Pristimantis tinajillas Urgilés, Sánchez-Nivicela, Nieves, and Yánez-Muñoz, 2014, Avanc. Cienc. Ingen., Quito, Secc. B,, 6: 52. Holotype: DHMECN 10745, by original designation. Type locality: "el Área Ecológica de Conservación Municipal Tinajillas – Rio Gualacenio (03◦ 01’13.8”S, 78◦ 32’51.9”W, 2550 m de elevación), parroquia General Leonidas Plaza, cantón Limón–Indanza, provincia de Morona Santiago, República del Ecuador".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in cloud forest at 2550 m in the Reserva Municipal Tinajillas-Gualaceño, province of Morona-Santiago, southeast versant of the Andes of Ecuador.
