Phrynopus iatamasi Aguayo-Vedia and Harvey, 2001, Rev. Biol. Tropical, 49: 339. Holotype: MHNC 1-ACX, by original designation. Type locality: "7 km de la carretera antigua al Chapare, 'Zona de Aguirre' (limite NO del Parque Nacional Carrasco), departamento de Cochabamba, Bolivia (17° 12′ S, 65° 42′ O), 3450 m".
