Distribution

Known from cold grassland puna at the type locality (Hacienda de Rapi, near Chiquintirca, at over 3000 m elevation) and along the road between Punqui and Anco, 3 km before Anco, 3850 m elevation, Departamento de Ayacucho, Peru.
