Oreobates chiquitanus Pansonato, Motta, Cacciali, Haddad, Strüssmann, and Jansen, 2020, J. Herpetol., 54: 405. Holotype: SMF 88497, by original designation. Type locality: "' Centro de Investigaciones Ecológicas Chiquitos’', San Sebastián, 16°21′38″S, 62°0′8″W(datum = WGS84), 466 m above sea level, Provincia Ñuflo de Chávez, Departamento Santa Cruz, Bolivia".

None noted. 

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (San Sebastián, Provincia Ñuflo de Chávez) and from Bella Boca, Provincia Ángel Sandoval, and Serranía de Santiago, Cerro del Arco, Provincia Chiquitos, all in the Department of Santa Cruz, eastern Bolivia.

Confused with Oreobates heterodactylus prior to its naming, according to the original publication, where the call, habitat, molecular placement, and morphology were detailed.
