Distribution

known only from the type locality (Sedrusco, Vista Alegre district, Rodríguez de Mendoza Province, Departamento Amazonas, Peru) in the humid montane forest of the headwaters of the Mayo river, Amazonas Department, at 2575 m elevation, on the Amazonian slopes of the extreme northeastern portion of the Central Andes in northern Peru.
