Pristimantis ameliae Barrio-Amorós, 2012 "2011", Anartia, Zulia, 23: 19. Holotype: CVULA 7118, by original designation. Type locality: "San Javier del Valle, 08° 56′43″ N, 70° 25′54″ W, 2500 m", Estado Mérida, Venezuela".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in cloud forest at 2500 m elevation on the eastern versant of the Sierra de la Culata, facing the Río Mucujún valley, Estado Mérida, Venezuela.
