Type locality: "the ridge above the base camp near Chorro Blanco, ca. 4.5 km (airline) NE Monte Seco, ca. 06° 51′ S, 79° 06′ W, ca. 1500 m, Departamento de Cajamarca, Peru".

Known only from the type locality (4.5 km northeast of Monte Seco, ca. 1500 m elevation, Departamento de Cajamarca, Peru).
