Distribution
Western Andes in Colombia from the department of Valle del Cauca and the Central Andes of Colombia in western Tolima and eastern Valle del Cauca south to the Nudo de Pasto and south in the Western and Eastern Andes of Ecuador south to Nevado Cayambe (2400–3700 m).

In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) conspicillatus series, Eleutherodactylus curtipes group according to Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 221. Mueses-Cisneros, 2005, Caldasia, 27: 235, provided a record for Putumayo, Colombia. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) curtipes species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 120–121. In the reformulated Pristimantis devillei species group of Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 126. Cuellar-Valencia, Gomez-Figueroa, and Bolívar-García, 2020, Herpetol. Notes, 13: 609–612, provided a record from Farallones de Cali National Park, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, and mapped the range in Colombia.
