Distribution
Known only from primary and slightly human-impacted forests at two localities in the municipality of Iranduba, state of Amazonas, Brazil, 60–83 m elevation.

Comment
In the Pristimantis unistrigatus group and closely related to Pristimantis delius, Pristimantis librarius, Pristimantis matidiktyo, and previously confused with Pristimantis ockendeni, according to the original publication, where mtDNA molecular markers, morphology, and advertisement call were detailed. Included in the Pristimantis ockendeni clade of the Pristimantis unistrigatus group as delimited by Mônico, Koch, Ferrão, Fernandes, Marques, Chaparro, Rodrigues, Lima, and Fouquet, 2024, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 108203: 1–19, on molecular grounds (mtDNA and nuDNA genes).
