Known from “La Selva” Natural Reserve, municipality of Valdivia, department of Antioquia, eastern slope from the northern Cordillera Central in Colombia, between 1700 and 1860 m elevation.

Comment
Unassigned to species group in the original publication, but on the basis of a tree of 16S mtDNA placed most closely to Pristimantis permixtus and Pristimantis platychilus; external morphology, coloration, and natural history were also covered in the original publication.
