Pristimantis jamescameroni Kok, 2013, Eur. J. Taxon., 60 : 5. Holotype: IRSNB 4160, by original designation. Type locality: "VENEZUELA: . . . summit of Apradatepui, Bolívar state, 5° 24’ 42” N, 62° 27’ 00” W, 2570 m elevation".

Known only from the type locality (summit of Aprada-tepui), 2557 to 2571 m elevation, Bolívar state, Venezuela.

Comment

Unassigned to any species group according to the original publication. Not assignable to a species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 127. Señaris Vasquez, Lampo, Rojas-Runjaic, and Barrio-Amorós, 2014, Guía Ilust. Anf. Parque Nac. Canaima: 96–97, provided a photograph and a brief account for the Parque Nacional de Canaima, Venezuela. Jablonski, Grul'a, Barrio-Amorós, and Kok, 2017, Salamandra, 53: 473–478, compared the mt 16s sequence of this species with other species in the eastern tepuis of Venezuela and Guyana. See Barrio-Amorós, Rojas-Runjaic, and Señaris Vasquez, 2019, Amph.
