Eleutherodactylus lirellus Dwyer, 1995, Amphibia-Reptilia, 16: 247. Holotype: KU 212240, by original designation. Type locality: "western slope of Abra Tangarana (06° 15′ S, 76° 45′ W, elevation 1080 m), 7 km (by road) northeast of San Juan de Pacaysapa, Provincia Lamas, Departamento San Martín, Perú".

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality at 470-1200 m elevation on the eastern slopes of the Cordillera Central in San Martín, Peru.

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group, most similar to Eleutherodactylus carvalhoi, Eleutherodactylus croceoinguinis, Eleutherodactylus imitatrix, Eleutherodactylus toftae, and Eleutherodactylus variabilis, according to the original publication.
