Eleutherodactylus mars Lynch and Ruiz-Carranza, 1996, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 20: 348. Holotype: ICN 30335, by original designation. Type locality: "'La Empalada'; Quebrada La Empalada, Km 13 carretera Mistrató a San Antonio del Chamí, Municipio de Mistrató, Departamento de Risaralda, Colombia, 1760-1790 m".

Comment

The sister species of Eleutherodactylus bellona according to the original publication. In the subgenus Pristimantis bellona species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 118, and of Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 125.
