Distribution

Eastern foothills of the Andes of Ecuador in the provinces of Napo and Sucumbios in the drainages of the river Quijos and Coca, between 1700 and 1800 m elevation.

Comment

In the Pristimantis boulengeri group, the sister taxon of Pristimantis miltongallardoi, according to the original publication, where comparative morphology, advertisement call, and molecular markers were detailed.
