Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) pardalinus Lehr, Lundberg, Aguilar, and von May, 2006, Herpetol. Monogr., 20: 106. Holotype: MUSM 19806, by original designation. Type locality: "Huasahuasi (11° 16′ 06.1″ S, 75° 39′ 28.3″ W) at 2640 m . . ., Distrito de Huasahuasi, Provincia de Tarma, Departamento de Junín", Colombia. Elevation corrected to ca. 2800 m by von May, 2016, Amph. Rept. Conserv., 10(1: special section): 14.

Distribution

Known only from three localities: the type locality, near the village of Huasahuasi, and two localities along the Carretaera (Hwy.) Central at 10.56 km east-southeast of the type locality and 12.96 km southeast of the type locality, Provincia de Tarma, Departamento de Junín, Peru, at elevations of 2591 to 2800 m. .

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) unistrigatus group, Eleutherodactylus lacimosus assembly, most similar to Eleutherodactylus schultei, according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis lacrimosus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 123, and of  Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 126. von May, 2016, Amph. Rept. Conserv., 10(1: special section): 1–16, provided additional records of the species and discussed its habitat, ecology, and conservaton status.
