Distribution

Elevations of 1800-2600 m in the vincity of the type locality (Río Zaña, 1800 m elevation, Departamento de Cajamarca, Peru), and isolated area of humid montane forest on the Pacific versant of the Cordillera Occidental in northern Peru.
