Pristimantis quicato Ospina-Sarria, Méndez-Narváez, Burbano-Yandi, and Bolívar-García, 2011, Zootaxa, 3111: 38. Holotype: ICN 55409, by original designation. Type locality: "Reserva Natural 'La Sirena' (3° 31′, 76° 06′ W, 2600-2900 m), Vereda la Nevera, Corregimiento de Tenjo, Municipality of Palmira, Departamento Valle del Cauca, Colombia".
